demon trouble please help!
my demon was leaking through the grip frame and i was thinking it was the qev because i changed all of the orings and it didnt do anything, so i swapped out the qev diaphragms and now it is leaking more from the back of the gun between the body and the frame. any ideas???

They're 008s.
They could be the problem, but I'd bet it's more likely one of your manifold o-rings, or the manifold gasket is gone bad. Maybe even solenoid gasket.
You could also check the upper HPR o-rings. If one of those are bad, they could be over pressurizing the solenoid and causing it to vent.

Funny had the oring on top of my reg go too....reset your reg turn the screw in all the way. At this point the air should not pass through the gun. If the oring on top of the reg is Bad it will leak behind the trigger frame. no leak check the 008 orings on the transfer tube.

I'll pm you, but part of the reason for a forum is so this can help somebody else who might find themselves with this same issue down the road. That way we don't have to repeat ourselves.

Seems quite a few people are having regulator leaks too. I wonder if the grease they're using is just too thin and shooting out quick. For those having this issue I'd drop some dow55 in the reg to be safe.
I'd use it on the air transfer and manifold orings too just to make sure they fit nice. I do this with most of my guns just to make sure those non moving orings always have a nice fit.

Actually, please don't do it to your manifold o-rings. We don't want those to swell because they won't fit. Dynamic o-rings okay. Static o-rings nah.

That's why I do it. They won't swell instantly. Just once you have them in there they slowly expand a thou or so to fill the slot nicely. I'm assuming they sit in a slot, if not then don't take the chance.
Obviously anyone doing it does it at their own risk. I'd do it LOL.

You don't have a Demon do you? Swelling the manifold gaskets and o-rings is BAD. You will have to replace them every time you take the gun apart if they swell. Using Dow 55 on the dynamic o-rings is okay because through friction the fit will become better because the o-ring that is swollen will break down and wear into the proper size/shape to meet the part it's moving against.

alright so changed the manifold orings and turns out one of them had slipped out of place (probably when i changed the qev) whoops. but swapped that and its not hissing like crazy but there is still a small leak between the body and frame.

Did you check the solenoid gasket? Have you shot over a chrono just to make sure it's not over pressurized?

I had a leak a while back where it was just over pressurized. Last thing I thought of. I ended up rebuilding the reg and found a damaged o-ring in it where I had cranked it down too hard.

alright so i replaced both of the gaskets and its still leaking. if i were to draw a picture of where it is leaking from if you put your finger over the trigger pivot screw and move it straight up to where the body meets the frame that is where it is
