Dye ul board compatibility

So I know that the ul boards work in all ul frames but when was the year the eye ribbon changed that required an adapter? Just wondering if a dm7 board will work in a dm9. Thanks

The DM series always used the wired eyes, the PM series used ribbon eyes.

And a DM7 board will work in a DM9, but I believe the DM9 board has more rate of fire increments than the 7.

Ok, for some reason I though the older dm boards were slightly different than newer ones but I guess that is not really the case. Thanks
