I'm happy with this, but I can't 1 hit people in soft core from close range with sniper rifles for some reason. (bolts) . I just shoot them in the upper chest really quickly and they're all like

and I'm like

because everyone else can do it to me but I can't do it to others lol. softcore is what I usually play but hardcore is still fun.

I think headshots with sniper are meant to be one shot kills from any distance in softcore. It's just ****ty hit detection that sometimes does't get you the instant kill.

That actually is only true for bolt action rifles which most do a minimum of 59 damage and 50 damage for the SV98. When you add in the HS multiplier of 200% they will always be a 1 shot if you hit them exactly in the head. That doesn't include the neck or any other part. Arms do 100% but legs are at 90%. Semi auto snipers on the other hand are quite different. All of them except the SKS do a minimum of 37.5 so even a headshot wouldn't insta kill them. SKS does a minimum of 27. All is at the minimum which varies for each weapon.

JNG-90: 80 till 15m, 59 @ >100m
L96: 80 till 15m, 59 @ >100m
M39 EMR: 50 till 15m, 37.5 @ >75m
M40A5: 80 till 15m, 59 @ >100m
M98B: 95 till 15m, 59 @ >150m
M417: 50 till 15m, 37.5 @ >75m
MK11: 50 till 15m, 37.5 @ >75m
QBU-88: 50 till 15m, 37.5 @ >75m
SKS: 43 till 15m, 27 @ >60m
SV98: 80 till 20m, 50 @ >80m
SVD: 50 till 15m, 37.5 @ >75m

A lot of those are similar/same, the reason the weapons seem to vary so much is mostly because RPM, bullet velocity, and directional recoil.

No one really plays anymore from the pc crew... We've all kinda moved onto other games. At least until the next dlc. If you have none of the dlcs and you plan on playing it a lot again it's worth the premium.
