Last time I was out playing outlaw ball, I had so many bounces. Literally 95% of the hits I took were bounced. Maybe it was cause of the rain or something, IDK.

I get bounces all day long. My field's standard paint has a thicker shell than the premium and the lower cost means the majority of walk one play with that. My ACU gear is padded lightly and the pants are a baggy to help with bounces.
I took a shot to the soft ear on my ProFlex a couple weeks ago that hurt like hell but bounced.
I have seen a few people who don't wear bottoms on there flexes, goggles only. Imagine them getting a bounce of the cheek or lip!
No offense but I find this very hard to believe.
A paintball to the mouth area can knock out, or at least loosen, a tooth. Not to mention the damage it would do to your face. Plus I am sure no decent, insured field would allow this. Especially since mask modifications are pretty much prohibited as it is

are you serious? you have never heard of that? Running goggles only was the ****. At my feild there is at least 1 guy who still does that, plus lots of the refs do as well.
Perhaps it's a Canadian thing. But I know you can't do that at any of the fields around my area. None of the fields I've ever been too actually.
Personally I think it's an incredibly stupid thing to do. Being hit in the face by multiple paintballs from a short distance is not something I ever want to experience

soul06, we get it you dont like goggles only, maybe lets just stick to the topic, getting bounces. I am thinking of getting some monster balls, leaving them in the worst conditions possible and see if I can get them to bounce off plywood at 10 meters shooting 275.
