Tippmann A5

I hope someone can help me, I'm running a Tippmann A5 w/ E-grip and HPA on a remote cord the Tank is a 48/3k and I was at a field a Few days ago and Someone the Owner I think said that I needed a regulator for the A5 because it's putting to much pressure into the gun is this true or am I being feed lie's, I don't have enough experience as I would like to figure this out on my own, so can someone please help me?

That's crap. The regulator on your tank is more than likely a high pressure output tank +-800 psi. With that said most stock out of the box tipppmann's need at least 600-700 psi to operate. If you want to try and lower the inclming pressure to the marker or fine tune you can get an external regulator or a palmers stabilizer...but do you need it? Probably not.

We run 48/3k tanks on the rental A5's that we use at the field I work for and we have zero problems with our guns.
As a matter of fact we got a bad batch of Gorilla Air tanks that had un-regulated regulators that were putting out over 1500 psi and in some cases close to 3000 psi into the A5's. The guns had zero problems just really high velocity.

Thanks Guy I thought something was up with that didn't Sound right to me and something else if y'all don't mind it I'm having some troubles with my A5 I'm thinking it's my cyclone but it can't be because I've lubed all the parts that needed lubing and I going to Order some Banjo O-rings just to make sure it's not that (By the way before I forget I have a E-grip on it) what or How can I check my trigger to see if that is a problem? and it also seems to do this machine gun action except it's only air no ammo

Sounds like the sear/hammer connection could be worn...or the battery is low and not tripping the sear to catch the bolt. When I had my tippys the only batteries the egrips liked were duracells...try that, make sure your tank is full and ten check the sear to bolt connection. Make sure there isn't a ridiculous amount of oil on the rear hammer either.
