Question about bob long G6Rs

So I'm not a new player but I'm new into looking at other guns than planet eclipse. I see that a lot of G6Rs come with SLP regulators for the tanks and pressure testers.
My questions are do I need SLP regs for the tanks (they do go on the tanks, right?)? Also, do I need a pressure tester? what is that for?
thanks for your time.

Pressure tester, the name alone explains it's self...so that should be a easy one to figure out...

G6R need LP, SLP is optional.

I'll try to help instead of coming off like an arrogant d-bag.

The pressure tester will tell you what the output pressures of your HPR and LPR are. The HPR and LPR are the regulators on the marker. It's not necessary but makes it a lot easier to make sure your g6r is setup correctly.

You need a Low pressure tank but a SLP tank will get you a few more shots for ultimate efficiency.

well I'm asking what is it for? What pressure do you need to test? I have never seen or heard about that for any other gun.
and so if i have a hp tank (crossfire 45/4500) i cant use that on a G6R?

You measure the pressure of the LPR (Low pressure regulator) and the HPR (High pressure regulator). The little thing below the barrel and your foregrip. Not many gun manufacturers have pressure testers. It helps to tune your gun so that you can get the max efficiency or smoothest shooting settings. Depending on how you want it tuned.

As far as the tank; If it's a low pressure system, then no, you need a lp or slp tank.

The pressure tester is used to finely tune your G6R. By doing this you are effectively making it a better shooter than other poppets because you can be sure the marker is set up exactly as it should. As far as the regs go, G6R's thrive off the SLP (300psi) as do most Bob Longs. You can also use a Ninja Adjustable reg. Just make sure to remove all the red shims so you have an output of 450psi-500psi.

I'd invest in an SLP though. I use mine on all my guns with no issues.

^just wait till about 20-40 cases in when you have to clean the lpr (unless you know how to effectively use the lurker method)
