Yea, they probably were running low on funds, which is why me and a ton of others got in by "accident" and when not as many of us bought founders as they thought would, they pushed it with the pc gamer mag and now no nda. They're raking in the money now I suspect.

this game is unplayable in its current configuration after this update.

those ****ing streak cats knock your cockpit around so much you can't see or do anything, you just end up stuck there unable to move or do anything in defense. These trial mechs are completely underpowered to fight them.

It's not even just streak cats it's all lrms... I can hardly play because of the fuzziness, it's ****ing with my eyes.

lrms, srms, autocannons.

you get hit by any of them and all of a sudden you can't see anything and just sit there and get pummeled. If you don't have a custom mech at the moment the game is garbage, the trial mechs just can't do anything against the people exploiting this crap.

i dont seem to have to many issues with the patch, just played a game and destroyed things lol:

best game so far, hunchback ftw.

seems like it runs a lot smoother now though, almost feels like everything just moves a bit faster paced, may be just me. noticed now when you target someone it shows what weapons they have fitted, and a lot of things look crisper.

edit: after looking at that picture it looks like the points system got changed around too.

Damage done and kill assists are just as good. Too easy to have a kill "stolen".

It always showed what weapons were fitted, it just takes a long lockon for your sensors to be able to pick up that info.

Game runs a lot smoother for me now. I'm not seeing any of the blurry stuff you're referencing.

Also...trial dragon is bad

. The ac5 is just....underwhelming.

I'm having lag problems, getting knocked around by ac10's and missle boats to the point my screens just a blur.

One thing i don't mind is the spotting is broken, i was spotting mechs through hills and cover while running around in the raven, but the raven is dog piss slow.

Not until they do some additional performance upgrades/engine coding upgrades. My gaming rig has issues on high settings, but that's also sporting an 8800gt....but that card is also more powerful than most laptops.

If you try to play on a laptop, you'll probably just get angry. CryEngine3 is a performance-heavy engine.
