As a ref we would allow all mode except full auto however if we saw that it was an issue we would either ask the players to relax a bit on the trigger or to turn their gun to semi. However on a normal day where their was a good amount of people low and high tech all modes but full auto were allowed.
Well, at the staten island field they have orientation before the first game where the refs say all of the rules. I remember a few years ago back when i had my a5 they wouldnt even let me use 3 shot burst. And i distinctly remember them saying that there was no ramping or full auto. The rules could have changed from then to now, but thats what it used to be. And at the end of the day (this is last weekend) a ref talked to one of the kids who was ramping and said not to use that mode. But what use is it to tell them after the last game of the day?
