I am the sameish height as him, minus almost a hundred pounds, and that jump is absolutely insane. He might be an inch taller, not sure.

It happens in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen, and Pakistan. It may not be openly condoned, but its massively prevalent.

Here is what I meant to write. I was half awake.
They could have tested the suit or tech with sensors or a monkey. This is something that if you had seens a blurb on CNN, you wouldn't care.
And oh sweet merciful baby jebus yes, this is so huge for all the reentry scenarios that's totally possible as a man in a suit. (Its not) You think you Commander Shepard bro? GTFO.

As of right now, I'm set to be a cable systems operator-maintainer, colloquially known as a cable *****. It would basically be like working for a phone company. I talked to my recruiter today, and I can either be essentially guaranteed a spot in a unit here in Iowa City as a combat medic, or in Davenport as a Chinook mechanic.

1. There is nothing quite like an actual experiment in the actual scenario; thankfully NASA had this guy who was crazy enough to try it. Lab tests are one thing, a real-life observable experiment is another. Given taht this suit is designed to save lives, I think it's important to get as close to a real-time scenario as possible.
2. The suit is designed for evacuation purposes, not for "Look at me, I'm just leik Master Chief lolol". Similar to that of ejection seats in our fighter jets to save the lives of our pilots, this suit is designed to potentially save the lives of an astronaut who may need to abort their shuttle during re-entry in the event of an emergency a la Columbia Space Shuttle.
3. No you GTFO

Going back to the recruiting thing that somebody mentioned a few pages ago... Yeah, I see it now. There's a kid (Thomas Tyner) in Oregon who had 1,000+ yards in his first two games of the season.... Runs a 4.38..... And is a 4-star, according to some articles i read. Wtf do you have to do to get 5 stars?

Putting up gaudy numbers doesn't mean **** because more often than not it means the kid is playing against mouthbreathers. Putting up 500 yards per game against kids that will never sniff a college football roster is not that impressive for a future D1 football player.
