Smile Help with evaluation

If you could tell me what we need to work on that would be great. We play speedball not woodsball but the speedball wasn't open at the field we went to.

I saw two major things that should be worked on, but overall things looked pretty good for D6.

First, You should always keep you gun up unless you truly need to put it down, but when moving around you should keep it up...ALWAYS.

The second thing I noticed were your stances. That is something that is more important in paintball than people think, especially speedball. The goal is to keep the most balanced stance while giving you the ability to move your marker around to wherever you need it, still keeping you are steady and at the lowest profile possible. Some of the stances I saw worked, but didn't look very solid.

Aside from those two things, everything looked ok, but not great, which is definitely to be expected from a team of newer players. Just make sure you play tight to your bunker and keep your marker tight on your shoulder. You don't want that moving around while running and gunning.

The last thing that I'm going to say, and I'm sure you all have plans for this, is upgrade your gear if this is something that you know you are going to do. In a tournament setting, a Spyder with a C02 tank isn't going to work nearly as well as just about any other marker you will see. So definitely look into some 4500 psi HPA tanks, better hoppers (although the Halo Too isn't bad, it isn't very low profile and paintball is a game of inches), better markers, POD PACKS, masks, etc.

Keep it up guys

I would recommend:
-taking a video on a speed ball field
-showing footage of gameplay, not random clips.

Invest in some cleats, you wouldn't believe how much it will help you. Also try to keep your elbow tucked in and don't leave your marker/hopper hanging out around corners dead give away of your position. You need to put up a video of how you guys work together. A teams only as good as the worst player and you need to all mesh well. Seems pretty solid though, good luck in the future!

It's hard to draw allot from this video. What I saw that was the most glaring was how rigid you all looked while playing. You need to be relaxed and be ready to duck and get back into cover, plain and simple you need to work on you're playing stances. Oh and work on getting rid of the chicken wing.

2:04 put the paint into the hopper not on the ground.. paint is really expensive. its okay to drop alittle paint but not 1/4 of the pod just get used to saving the paint.

but like everyone else said stances and upgraded gear.

i noticed some of you looked very timid to make a move.

With the edited footage, hard to tell,
keep your gun up
do what p8ntnija says, relax and keep your arm tucked in.

also, switch hands, when you play woodsball, try using just your off hand until it's somewhat usable. from what i have seen of the terrible video, you don't switch hands so that should help.

I will repeat the first comment. All in all your form is not bad. Just keep the guns up. The only time that gun should not be ready to fire down-field is the second or two it would take to switch hands. Get used to reloading while the gun is up. Practice it at home. You will loose a lot of paint until you get used to it. Try to keep your rate of fire up even while reloading.
