Purpose of this thread is for military guys who are interested in paintball and stationed in the NW to have a place to hang out and schedule get together's both on and off the field. Also it is a OT thread where we can talk military (Like I cant go to chow because I cant find my PT belt, etc) and other type of shenanigans.

Few things/rants. (might be a long post)

1. 48 hours ago I woke up in my bed in MI. Everytime I laid down to sleep they'd tell me they found a flight for me. FML. 16 days.

2. I registered for classes; I'll list them if anyone pretends to care. Major: Broadcasting Journalism. "Welcome to CBS Evening news, I'm Trevor Iler reporting."

3. I didnt actually end up playing, but I went to my old field (future local field) and the owner recognized me (I usually stop by whenever I'm in town.) and let me shoot the luxe fo' free...just a hopper, but I got a feel for it. The luxe is an awesome marker and it looks...classy...in a girly sort of way. I'll prolly put it all up on here when I get back to Lewis.

4. Paid off majority of everything; feels good to own things.

5. Drank so much my dad kept giving me "the look" whenever I'd go back for more.

6. Thinking of selling alot of stuff when I get back...my beloved guitar and amp...there was more but I forgot. Stuff I dont use that would bring me more in selling than it would keeping around for sentimental value.

7. Josh used the word "hella" in a previous post.

8. I lol'd at the first post.

s' bout it. Im going to bed.

3. Its was supposed to be white, but its kinda silverish, and pink. I meant to take pics when I was home.

4. Nice! I have two more student loans to pay off and im good...its only 2% and 3% interest, so im looking at a credit booster there.

5. My dad is a recovering alc, so hes just trying to look out for me, but I told them...I'm on leave...it'll be different when Im back home at school.

6. Reasons of why not? Its fun to play, and I'll keep the acoustic, but I just dont play it anymore...its not worth the storage space to keep it if I can get $600-$700 for the combo.

Im still on American time zone: two days ive gone to bed at 0600 (9:30pm back home) and woken up at about 1700 (8:30pm back home). And no ones said **** yet. **** THESE LAST TWO WEEKS!

The only thing thats pressing is I need to write my NCOER for my rater who hasnt seen me all but 5 minutes total in the past 11 months.

Im organizing a college team right now...which makes me think...if I have to do this from Afghanistan...do they lack leadership or motivation? (prolly funds, I remember what it was like scraping for gas money to get to work for gas money to get to work)

Looks like Im playing a tourney in MI on Dec 9th. My 2nd beginner tourney since being banned from beginner tourneys in 2007 because of domination.

Also because of a mix up that was not my fault Im still waiting on points to come through for me to pin. Still sitting at "Promotable"

Also I was thinking of playing a tournament or two when I get back. I dont know we will have to see. I think I may be overqualified to play in a beginner tournament.

Seriously? Geez, I guess thats a pretty big flaw. I was looking at the UWL tournaments. Looked very cool. Running around in the woods again all willy-nilly.

All of the tournaments I've ever played in never used appa, so thats why I've been able to play in so many beginner tournaments.

Im probably gonna end up doing Michigan Monster Game, and Tippmann vs World next year.

Scenarios are fun, running around the woods all willy nilly pretending your an Orc in the battle for middle earth while wearing a cape and mud boots, maybe some chainmail or whatever else you can scrounge around at goodwill.

Yea it looks like a blast. I like the idea of lower BPS as well as running aorund in the woods since 90 percent of us started playing there anyways.

I would not use a throat mic or any type of comm's. If I was forced to my only transmission would be "Going rover." at the start of the game.

Yea I played the D-day scenairo at OP and had alot of fun, only like 120 people but still a blast.
