I'm in that boat myself. Almost a year without my own car, and I'm damn near 40. We've got a van that's shouldered the transportation needs since last November, but with living in one county, my wife working in the next one over, and me working in another north of her, it's a ton of road time and miles. Not fun. I'm going to pick up something small, cheap, 4-cylinder, and stick in late January, early February when taxes come in.

CAN NOT WAIT FOR SUNDAY!!!
Truck still in shop should i have it back torromow sounds like.
Turns out trans was leaking from the torque converter so they had to order in new bolts with the seals on them(as was leaking out the bolts) and another new seal for seating it.. Oil still leaking from drain point after trying new plug so not sure what will happen there.
But just got call today saying fixed leak at oil pan interested to see what fix was. But after test drive found some small drops. Not sure if it is left for oil/trans (would think hey lets clean this up before we take it out) So gonna put some dye in i guess and see what happens after next test drive. |
