kind of sucks. sirens blaring 24 hours a day, babies crying, parking costs a ****load, everything's overpriced. only advantage for me is I can take the subway cus I have no license. if that wasn't the case I would be outta this **** hole so fast.

I've lived in the city for almost 10 years now and barely notice all the annoying noises anymore. I've learned to just tune them out somehow. There is always an ambulance, fire truck, police car, ricer with a loud exhaust, or idiots with a big mouth trying to pollute my ears. I could go back to living in the burbs directly outside the city like I did growing up, but I could never go back to living in the middle of nowhere 100 miles from anything like I also did.
And you are half right about public trans. Trains are unbeatable, but buses are the work of the devil.
