Autococker ID

What is this? Know very little about cockers. Had a Dye sticker on either side (don't know if that was added or came on it). It reads "B.W. SHARK" on either side and the serial number is 29652. I took off the front block to convert to pump btw...

Back when there used to be a cottage industry of very small custom shops. Usually just one guy with a mill and lathe and some free time whom you could send your stock WGP in and in a month or so it would be shipped out with that particular shop's style.

I'm guessing B.W. Shark is probably one of those guys, or B.W. has a model called the Shark.

Either way, it's pretty neat, and probably pretty rare. But that's not going to have too much effect on the value, unless it comes to light that B.W. is some long lost autococker guru.

pretty sure it was a lug locking screw so it doesnt slip out of time. so you adjust it from the top and lock it down from the side.
