Rim color

Ok. So I have my stock rims on my car I either want to get them white or black. How would I go about coloring them. I want them to be like transparent enough to see the symbol but dark enough not to tell they were chrome

When you get it done, post some pics in your build thread

Go to your local marine store and get some bottom paint for boats . Ie the paint they paint the bottom of the boats with . This will last in the elements way better than anything powdercoated.

They're wheels, not rims.

White wheels look terrible on almost every car.

Black painted/powdercoated/plastidipped wheels look cheap.

Haven't been on in a bit, didn't check the date. Forgot ST:A moves slower than some of the other forums, assumed it was new since it's on the first page.

I prefer black and red colour because it gives very nice look to the exterior.

The color of the car can influence wheel color. Chrome or black chrome PVD looks great. Costs a bit but the black chrome is something no one else has and the chrome looks like real chrome but without the hassle and deterioration and is repairable. Only problem is it takes several weeks to get it done. Matte grey is also an up and coming color. We did a Porsche in satin black texture that looked cool as well.

FYI, I own a wheel repair/powder coating company. Be very careful who you let do your wheels and remember that you usually get what you pay for.

I own the Pittsburgh franchise of Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists. No need to send your wheels to me. We likely have a franchise in your area.

Don't know anyone named claw hammer.
