A few questions

Is coaching only allowed on snake side?
Is ramping allowed as long it's set at 12.5 BPS?
Are paintball gernades allowed in airball?
What does it mean when a player yells out that a player is a "g" or "d"?

Wether coaching and ramping is allowed is dependant on which league you play.

Paint grenades are never allowed in any form of tournament airball.

Generally when a player yells "g" is is followed by a number. This is a code to tell teamates how many people on the other team are out. "d" refers to where a player is on the Dorito side of the field. For example d 1 refers to the doritio farthest from you. As the numbers get higher and higher (d 2, d3, d4 ect) they count doritos closer to you. To clarify, as the opposing player gets closer to you the number will be higher that you call out.

Hope that helps.

1. Depends on what league you play in. PSP allows coaching on snake side only. I play PSP and the MAPL, in the MAPL, there is no coaching at all.
2. Again, depends on what league you play in.
3. Paint grenades are not allowed in airball at all.
4. G means a player on the other team has been shot out, typically followed by a number. D refers to the dorito bunker, d1 meaning the farthest dorito from you, d2 closer to you, and so on.

Basically reiterating what the guy above said haha.

Ty for answering my question. I don't play in any leagues, but The field I play in has the PSP logo on the inflatables. So I'm guessing its PSP rules. So it's ok to ramp there?

Your best bet is to just ask next time you are at the field. The last thing you want is to get in trouble with the field's refs because you were breaking the rules.

Always ask how they are playing that particular day. If you're going on a rec day, it's most likely going to be semi-auto. If you're playing on a competitive day, they may allow ramping...just need to follow suit with what everyone else is doing.

Yup, nothing sucks more than when you get into a game and you're shooting semi and everyone else is ramping. Always ask how the game is being run that day.
