Ed, something that might help the viewers would be a counter for each team. With seven starting players on each side, having a running body count would be nice so we can see instantly that Team A has all seven alive, but their opponant has only three. Just keeping track of the game, y'know?

Been trying to watch it while doing some homework on campus, it's buffering about every 20 seconds... Really not making it enjoyable to watch when it's 5 on 5 then it buffers and it's over!

Davey has been doing a solid job. He's pretty entertaining.
Make sure people introduce themselves a bit more though. Not everyone knows who they are.

great webcast from what I have seen..I personally didn't start watchin them until around 12pm pt so i guess the lag issues were handled by then, but like the other guys said it is kinda confusing keeping track of player count, wish they could have made the scoreboard a bit more like the ncpa webcast, simple little row of dots underneath each team name to keep track of how many players left on each team..if you saw the ncpa webcast you know what i mean lol
also wondering if anyone could tell me what time it starts exactly in pacific time? like 9am or so??

Another suggestion - along with body count, the game timer would be nice to have. Obviously, events are "run what you brung", but for future events and such.
And, you know, that glowing puck technology that hockey league that isn't playing this year did? How cool would that be on paint streams?

I know some of this is repetitive
Poor XSV was dubbed XVS
--- Need to double check those team names.
Camera's - Something about some placements feel's unnatural.
--- This is probably the easiest fix overall. Just a matter of adjusting to the layout to give it a view that covers ground, but also doesn't feel "stuck".
So far enjoying most of it. I agree with some of the hosting comments, etc. I chalk some of it up to first time being in a broadcast like this, and it's hard to keep in the right mindset for 7hrs. Hopefully they'll learn a lot from the comments, etc, and come up with a gameplan to fix it. Definitely they need team print outs with the players and numbers. So when they're talking they don't keep saying "X team back guy is being pinned down". Instead they should glance at the number and say "Team X's XX Player is locking it down" and things of that nature. It feels generic when players are just called team/position.
Scoreboard definitely needs work
-- Long team names break outside the box
-- Lack of player counts
-- Name placement can make games confusing due to limited camera angles. Especially when the team names don't correspond with the side they're actually playing on. So it may say XSV/Avalanche but field sides are reversed. Adjust accordingly due to which side they're on.
Continuing to watch the stream now, but mainly just enjoying I can catch the NPPL games finally. The fact Ed's in here asking how can he improve is solid because we know these comments are going to be constructive, and should result in changes next season in a positive manner.

its bad broadcasting to have the announcers have their backs turned to the field. Watching them turn every couple seconds doesn't help.

From what I watched today the webcast has really improved. A couple of things that would make it better is one) Place teams names on the correct side that they are playing. Two) body counter, three) game clock, 4) visual indication when a penalty occurs. The biggest issue for me though is the lack of a body counter and placing the teams on the screen correctly while playing.

I'm looking forward to seeing 1)how Houston Heat transfers over from PSP to 7-man and 2) how the new pros Phoenix Contact fair against the established teams.

Phoenix Contact hasn't proven to be quite competitive. They got 5-0'd nearly every game
