Which barrel suits the empire axe better?
So im split between buying a super freak kit..and a Sly pro merc Barrel kit with all 4 backs. I will be getting either one roughly at the same time so any suggestions?

Freak kit all day, every day!! I got backs for all my markers! Only other barrel I'd use is my old one piece boomstick.

I have a Super Freak kit and it's definitely my primary lately.
Although, as mentioned above, I also have the Eigenbarrel set and for the money they're phenomenal.

I like 15 inch barrels. I own both a .684 CF Boomstick and a .685 Lucky 15 Barrel. Lucky 15 barrel takes the cake on this one. Planning on selling the boomstick pretty soon actually.

The Freak kit will be more versatile since it's compatible with the original Freak kits.

My logic might be skewed but I'd go with the freak kit. Afterall, for all these years all I've ever heard about was the freak kit. So I would assume its safe to say that the freak kit is very good especially since its still around.

Im looking at grabbing a set of lurker barrel,I I dont like the look of kits really so this is perfect.
Perfect length
Perfect look
Long control bore
And only 1 piece to mess with with the freak you have 3 peice everytime you play

freak kit is awesome you can match the paint very well. If you wanted to have a carbon fiber barrel you could also with the freak

How do you "aim" a super freak Apex barrel when it "turns" a shot left or right?

The tip rotates. So you have a sliding switch that creates the amount if spin in the direction.
Then you simply rotate the tip until its in whatever direction you want the hook.
That part of the reason it looks like a faux suppresser. That whole front section spins.

I only mess with the bore I'm using and the entire barrel. So that makes 2 pieces.

Really? That's what people tell me, but I never really believed them. Can you really curve them around bunkers?

If you go into the Rec Play forum, there's an annoying guy named FreeEnterprise who says you can; although his "video evidence" doesn't really back up his claim.

I bought the Empire Sniper barrel kit, but the best part is is that it came with an Empire Sniper.

I haven't really tested it much. I popped it on once for fun during a practice and it definitely gets some hook, but I didn't have time to really play with it and see how controllable it is, or the amount of hook.
I just threw a quick pod through it, and popped the CF tip back on in between games.

I'd really love to try one out one day... too cheap to buy one though I'd be interested to see if it really does work... if somebody could figure out a way to get it to curve a foot around a can or down a foot into the snake, they'd make a mint.
