I'm always just paranoid they are going to pay me a few days later and then leave negative feedback when I refund their money and tell them I no longer have the item

Ebay has it's downfalls as well. Depending on the selling price of the item, ebay as well as paypal take a chunk out of what you were paid in fees. So you have to set your reserve like 10% higher than it is actually worth to get your money.
For small lower priced items this is ok.
I sold my 4 wheeler on ebay for 2600 and ebay wanted like 200 bucks.
not cool, had I known I would have listed it higher.
Probably my fault to some extent but I am still slightly upset by it.

Yea, it's a pain. They try to be all nice and have these list for free sales, but no one realizes that means you save the .50 that the listing costs you, but the percentage is still coming out of your profits.
