By the way ol' man Spaz, don't forget to charge your little electric scooter so you can then try and do circles around me.
I've been lurking more on the Jeep forums, then here now. Since I don't play anymore it kinda stays on the back of my mind.

Thanks JJ! I'm proud of my ol' Jeep (well she's not that old). The change of color on the grill makes for a hell of a difference in the stance and look department IMO.
My next major project will be a Ford 8.8 conversion with truss kit, and triangulated 4 link. Johnnie Joints all around. Gonna be $$$$$$
Whats new with everyone though?

My next jeep upgrade is a new front bumper. Mine lost a fight with the pole that protects the gas pumps.

Bahahaha. That's funny. Maybe you need a booster seat to see over the steering wheel now?
I paid ~$225 shipped for mine off of Ebay. 3/16" steel. Built really nice. Integrated winch mount. I love it.

Lol, no I just locked the brakes on an unseen patch of ice. Slid right into the pole. I could straighten it, but I want a new one anyways.
Good thing is, I sold off a lot of the unused paintball parts and gear I had laying around to net over $500.

Ok Sin, need your opinion.......gonna get a new front bumper for the Jeep. Deciding between the dual tube design or the short square rock crusher style. Thoughts?

Stubby rock crusher IMO. I do not like tube style bumpers, at all.
Eventually I'm going to be building my own bumpers out of 3/16 T6061 aluminum plate.

I'm leaning toward the stubby myself. I'd love to be able to make my own.

I need a plasma cutter before I can do mine, well technically I don't actually need one as I have a scroll saw I can use to cut the aluminum plate with, but a plasma cutter would be tons easier. Told my mom that's what I want for Xmas, haha. Then to find somebody who could weld aluminum.
I've never liked the look of tube bumpers. I've always liked the look of stubbies. A lot of companies now have stubbies that are modular so you can add on to them. Might want to check into one of those.

IIRC they are a bit more on the expensive side, but are quite nice. Can't think of any brands off the top of my head, but I'm sure if I have seen them for the TJ before.
Stay away from Smittybilt btw.
