So I used to play 1.6 and Source for years. Should I even pick Global Offensive up? I don't know if the community is going to stick with it.

Meh its alright for 15$, source and 1.6 are still much better.

Hmm yeah I'll probably just hold off and see about it in a few months. Maybe it will be in a Steam sale and I can snag it for cheap.

yes it is, plus all the third party mod content that is bound to show up, also custom map making.... what other modern fps still has custom map making, no DLC, super competitive game play, and an active group of devs fixing problems quickly instead of waiting months for a patch.

I bought it for ps3 last night. It's still pretty sweet, hell of a deal for 15 bucks. Games are small like 5 on 5.

So I've got this and have been playing it for a while. The guns feel pretty different, knives in the back aren't instant kills, and rebuy just doesn't work half the time. Also, it doesn't feel as competitive as 1.6 or Source. Almost like the Call of Duty version of Counter-Strike or something.
