Turn your stock grips to oled

So I know most of us like to keep the color of the stock grips and virtue only has them on black, so here is the solution.

Tools needed

Step 1
Take your stock grip push the Jewell out just a bit to reveal the locking rubber pieces, make sure don't push to hard or the jewel will brake, use the pick to pull the rubber locks off

Step 2
Do the same to the virtue oled grips

Step 3
Use the blade (make sure is sharp) and cut all the rubber locks off, if you leave them is really a pain to get the Jewell back in.

Step 4
Test fit the virtue Jewell in the stock grip to make sure if fits properly, then take it out and apply a small amount of glue on each corner of the jewell and place it in the grip and hold in place hard for the glue to dry

Step 5
Sit back relax and enjoy your new grips, and also swap the color parts if you have to like me going all white.

THE END

Can this same technique be used on the old style DM grips? I have only seen 1 other person do it. I'm not a fan of the flat stinger panels (had em on a vice and hated it) and am in LOVE with the UL frame, so keeping the grips would be a must.

Thanks man, great write up!

I am the one who did it on the old style grips but unfortunately I did not take any pictures of the process. look up my posts and I have explained a little in a post what I used and how I did it..
