Ego 9/10 FPS spike during burst

My college and I have an Ego 9 & 10, stand barrels (.693) and parts.
Both stripped, cleaned, oiled and greased using PE products (besides ASA)

We tested using a Virtue Clock and put about 2 bags through them.
When we fire single shots if is running from 260-280 fps.
But when we fire a 3-4 shot burst (in semi) it is showing a max of 295-305fps.
Same occurs when firing a stream.

Any ideas why this could be occurring?
I will test a .685 next time I am out, which is a slight under bore or bore matched.

Not sure why there are Fps spikes during streams or bursts. The only suggestion I have would be the paint to barrel match. That 99% of the time causes Fps problems.
