For the last couple of times I played the light on the gun has been flashing yellow. I knew this means there was a eye problem so I checked it out. I cleaned the detents, made sure the spring on the trigger wasnt touching anything, and replaced the battery. Also when I turn it on it goes into programing mode even though I made sure the spring on the trigger didnt touch anything.

That must be it cause it still shoots and I checked everything else but would that still cause it to go into programing mode when turned on?

a faulty microswitch more than likely
