New GOG Marker
An excerpt from a post by GOG on their FB page:
Now, the creative minds behind the Shocker and Ion are changing the face of paintball again with the eNMEyTM. With a purely pneumatic design, the eNMEyTM is a regulated spool valve marker in the same price range as entry level blowback paintguns.
“There’s no hammer, mainspring or sear in the eNMEyTM. You’ve got to shoot it to believe it,” says GOG’s Adam Gardner, referring to the smooth performance made possible by the marker’s spool valve design. “That’s why we’re inviting paintball techs from around the world to take the eNMEyTM tech class free of charge at this year’s World Cup – and to leave with an eNMEyTM of their own.”

Seems like this may be an entry into the field rental market.

This sounds cool. So is it a step above the envy/excty/g1 or a step below? Im very interested in pictures and specs of the marker.

Sounds like a step below.
Definitely sounds like they're trying to get into the field market. Smart play for them. Their guns are far easier to maintain than 98's. Not that ease of maintenance means field owners will start cleaning their rentals until after something falls/breaks off their guns.

Exactly why i think its going to be field rental worthy. All GOG guns are already super easy to maintain and clean. Taking the electro out of the equation just makes it that much better.

I don't think it's going to be electro. It's probably going to be a rental type of gun.

This all sounds cool and i cant wait to see it, but how could it be a step below the envy? The envy is pretty simple. Theres no real bells and whistles to it so whats left for them to downgrade? If what you guys are saying is true, how can you make a mech spool valve marker?

Exactly my point. It can be done. And i am looking forward to it. An entry level spool valve thats pure pneumatic could do wonders for beginners to get them hooked on the sport.
Honestly, my only issue so far is with the name lol.

The Automag is the original spool valve marker, and it was around in '89. An electronic version of the marker wasn't marketed until 2000. Tom Kaye, the creator of the marker actually holds patents that that cover force-fed loaders (most modern loaders), paddle-agitated loaders (the illustrations basically show a ReVolution), searless blowforward markers (illustrations show poppets and spools), and both mechanical and electronically actuated spool valve markers with sears. He has yet to bully anyone who has utilized his IP.
Forest Hatcher of Armson LLC / ProTeam Products holds a patent that covers the only hammerless/searless semi automatic marker I've ever seen, I will be interested to see the design for this new marker from GOG. The only other designs I'm picturing are similar to an ICE Epic or a PEC gun.

How would a gun like this shoot? Walkable? Response trigger full auto?

Guys, please remember this is a fully pneumatic gun aimed towards entry level players. For the price, you are getting a spool valve that can take a beating. Just be happy to have an alternative to Tippmans and Spyders lol.

I cant wait for this thing to come out. I just might pick one up for a backup marker / loner for my friends. Its good to see that Gog is adding another marker to their line of markers.

hmm this is interesting... I was looking at the picture again and if you look closely, it appears as if the new eNMEy has a single finger trigger. It looks alot like the envy from what i can see, but it also appears to have slightly different milling on the body. The barrel and asa look exactly the same as the envy's barrel and asa. Im guessing the regulator is the same too. The feedneck also appears to be the same as the one on the eNVy.
