So I have a 1.5 and I recently replaced the board with a 2.0 board. Now my eyes always read that there is a ball in the chamber, even when I pull the bolt out. Here is what I have already tried:

Checked connection between the eyes and the board.

Cleaned the eyes.

Factory reset the board.

Any ideas?

PS: I emailed Darryl about my old board when it broke over a month ago and haven't heard anything back... What is that about?

My guess is maybe the eyes are bad. I would try new/different eyes.

^^And if that doesn't work try pulling the eyes out of the gun, plugging them into the board and seeing if they read correctly when you just point them at eachother. If that doesn't work I'd try plugging them into a different board completely.

So in an effort to see if it was an eye malfunction I re-installed my old board, and guess what? The eyes work with the old board... Guess its time to call DLX. Thanks for your help.

That's kind of what I figured. My 1.5 board did the same thing a week after installation, as well as the right side of my LEDs went out.

Called the service line, Darryl answered. Very helpful, never heard of this particular issue before though. Seems strange. Maybe its because ANS gear ships using FEDEX...

Fedex made your board stop sensing that eyes were installed?
