I'm almost ready for the game, I sat threw and watched the whole Jack Skelton movie last night. I just need to go threw the gear and get some fesh batterys


I know oogie boogie sounds more like a bad disco move then an evil ghost or what ever he is supposed to be , but we'll have fun with it.

They might make an exception for him! I don't know if he has ever done that during any games I have played with him but several people have warned me about him doing that :-). Great guy, several times, including last Friday, he gave me some good tips to improve my game. Looking forward to Sunday!

Just got home and cleaned up, have to say I had a great time. Special thanks go out to:

Our MVT, Team Precision. They always came by the base to see what they could do, and probably wound up completing the better half of our missions. When they weren't doing that, they were on the front lines, and they were also our medics.

Jim and Jenn, my opposing commanders. I've known these two for a few years now, and I knew they'd be a great pair to play against. They were always checking in with me to make sure my players were having a good time, and treated me quite humanely while I was in captivity.

Exiled Souls and LVP staff - Worked hard out there and always did what they could to make sure people understood the rules and had fun.

Mario, my XO who came through for me at the last minute, and was always there when I needed him.

And, my MoFo award when to Solstice. They attacked our base twice and overran it once, and also managed to capture me before the lunch break. Whenever I saw the black kilt coming, I made sure to get out of the way.

It was a real great time out. I couldn't put it any better than what the general has to say, so here's his message to everyone who came out:

To everyone who played Splat-O-Ween this past Sunday: Thank you so much for a great time and

I hope you had as much fun as I did! I am definitely looking forward to next year all because of you folks!

Alex, you and your entire side were very worthy opponents, making me think on my toes at every twist and turn. Keep up the excellent work!

Mario, it was Halloween, you should have been the pope. :-)

To my side: You guys were insane (and, coming from me, that is a compliment)! From that desperate defense at the base right before lunch to the sweeping push near the end of the day, not once did you ever let me down. From missions to field control, I couldn't have asked for a better bunch of fighters than you!

Jenn, thanks for putting up with me as usual. :-)

To Pete The Game Coordinator and the rest of Exiled Souls, thank you for a great day out and for being diligent scenario refs. Your communication with each other throughout the day made for one of the smoothest running games I've ever played (let alone commanded)! Top notch work and I look forward to seeing what you have to offer in the future.

Sorry it took so long to write this up but the power is out around here (thank goodness the weather held out long enough to get the game off without a hitch)!
