I find this kinda hard to believe considering the large vulnerability allowing the ivy virus that was discovered in every version of IE since I believe it was IE6

Yea its shocking but MS has really step its game up. IE9 is a all new beast from what i have read. Have yet to try it though.

Yep one the main reason i don't use it. But i was just surprised to see how safer MS has made it and how FF and chrome compared to it.

Those reports also fluctuate greatly depending on who you read them from.... there was a 'study' done about a month or two ago that showed Chrome was the most popular browser followed closely by IE9 and then Firefox.
Who knows what to believe, and even better... who cares? lol
Use the browser you like and don't do dumb **** with your computer and you won't have to worry about how safe it is.
