Ah, I see. I remember them using crossbows now which isn't much different I suppose. Been a while since I've played any RE games. Still not the direction I was hoping the game would go. I played through RE5 a few times to be honest but I certainly wasn't hoping for more of it in RE6.

**** this action game bull****.
I was hugely disappointed in 5 and I feel 6 will carry on with the same attitude. What made the series special in its glory days was the sense of helplessness, isolation, and challenge. RE has really done a perfect job of alienating and pissing off its original fanbase. I'll wait till this drops to the 20$ range before snagging it.
Limit the ammo, make less but stronger enemies, keep with an oppressive atmosphere.
PS: Chris, get off the roids.

No I don't remember them because of the garbage controls. I was hoping this game would go back to that with the reintroduction of the slow zombies just with RE4/RE5 controls.

Just got the demo and its not too bad. I ****ing hated 4&5 so this one seems a tad better. The co-op is really fun with a friend (kinda funny as well). My only concern is how easy this **** is, you can either rape the right trigger and kill anything in your path or you can quick shoot a shotgun and just blast your way through everyone. Not to mention there is ammo and health EVERYWHERE. Also the cover system is borderline ****ed, extremely buggy and not very accurate. If they make some major updates then I think this game might be worth getting, after a price drop of course.

What the hell is everyone *****ing about? As a true RE fan, I love this game so far. Leon's champaign brings be back to the feel of 2. Dark, creepy. And after some getting everything down, I love the controls. I will give a final review once I complete the game, but so far I am loving it.

i want this game... so badly.
but after IGN and gamespot giving it, "meh" reviews... idk. i might wait for a price drop.
i hear it looks fantastic, but if i can just ram the melee button, there's no scare tactic in it. honestly, i didn't really get into RE until 4, but that had the best blend of action/horror in most games to date. RE5 felt like I could just mow down people with no regret to ammo loss. IDK.
I'll pick this game up, but not until the price drops a little bit.  |

All of this.
REmake was one of the best games ever. It terrified the everloving **** out of me as a child, but with the graphics upgrade and dialog that wasn't lolbad it was a great game. I was always hoping RE2 would get the same treatment. Felt too cartoony to me because of the animation. Remake RE1 and RE2 with ps3/360 graphics and update the control scheme a little bit and you have a very very solid ****ing game. |

There is a rumor going around that we will see a REmake2.
Remember Tank controls are only as bad as you are.
Till than I keep my GameCube around. You can have a full RE set of non ****ty games if you try hard enough.
