Same, but mine would probably work better with a case that had halfway decent airflow.

I does well indeed. My 3570K @ 4.5 Ghz with 1.25v runs 68-71*C under load with Folding@Home. It is a bit warm, but could be the warmer nature of ambient air in the office.

Cant help but want to try a H100 on there though...

I'm currently at 4.2 and after a few hours of playing BF3 it was only at 37*C.

Damn link won't load on my phone. I'm on my second Cooler master storm series case and I love them. They may not be the best but they sure work for me.

Zalman Z7 plus, don't get that thing. Airflow is average, but installing another hard drive in that case is next to impossible without completely taking everything out of it.

EDIT: Guess it's discontinued anyways. Big surprise. It was like $12 after a rebate at Fry's, only reason I got this thing. I got a P280 from Fry's on sale. I might transfer everything to that eventually.

BF3 doesn't put nearly the load on the CPU as Folding or Prime95 would. 37* is just a fast walk above idle for the 3570K.

Folding @ Home, a Stanford University project to crowd source computer power to simulate protein mutation/folding to better understand how the body reacts and decays. Takes a lot of "horse power" to churn through the models, so they allow people to donate their computing power versus building/renting a server farm. Load is as much as running Prime95 on the CPU, and their are GPU clients as well expanding potential folding "power".

At 4.2 you're probably at less than 1.15 volts and that sounds about right. Bump the voltage to 1.25 and run at 4.5-4.6 and you'll be in the 80's. In all honestly, I feel where you're at now is the safest for a casual overclock/gamer.

My I7-3820 is hitting 60 about 15 mins into playing BF3. It idles at 37-39ish. Are these temps bad? Hyper 212 Evo is cooling it. Now that I'm thinking about it I may have put a little too much thermal paste. Build is a week old. Running stock.

Also where do you get prime95?
