Q: Better quality/durability camo clothing

Hi

I'm Enrique from Argentina. Some friends and I are aiming to build a little team to compete in local events/games.

We've almost completed our equippment and now we're deciding about our team's clothing. We've been playing REC, but would like also to play SPEED, so we think that some camo jersey/pants would be best for both kinds, right? We're looking for durability mainly.

We've seen Valken's V-TAC gear, but are open to any suggestions you can give us

Thanks a lot in advance

I believe it was Tim Schloss, who made Tiger Stripe products, who once said that paintball players are (were) harder on his products than Navy SEALs. That being said, military spec pants are generally pretty durable, and certainly cheaper than paintball pants to replace if something does go badly.

The common "problem" I see in common military pants/jacks are that they doesn't have <paintball> protections in knees or elbows

True, but that can be covered, so to speak, with stand alone pads. I've been running Empire elbow pads under my PBN jersey, and will run knee pads under my Tiger Stripe pants when I'm able to pick up a set.

There's a few of the newer military spec pants and jackets that do have knee/elbow pad pockets/holders built in, but those tend to be just as expensive, or more so, than regular paintball pants.

Look into the New BT Line, they just released a jersey and pants. I think the pants are around 50 or 60 and they look like they have some good padding and there camo.
