it seems like a nice school.
I can answer these a bit, having been on campus more than a few times.
Females: not bad.... If you like Asians, you'll be in heaven.
School has a ridiculously good medical program, and if you want a job at Microsoft there's not a better place to be.
Yes, UDUB is common.
The campus is also really scenic, with trees and plants everywhere, with quite a few older looking buildings (the nice kind of old building).
Seattle is a beautiful city, if you get past the traffic jams downtown.
I went with a buddy to Greek row this past weekend to crash parties.... We hung out with some dudes for a while, then went to one that kicked us (and some girls, wtf?) out of their house.... They were douchebags. We ended up at a local bar, and had a great time. I don't think this story makes sense. **** it. UW is pretty nice. About a dozen of my friends went there, and they all enjoyed it.

I won't argue the first part of your post, since you're far more knowledgeable (thank you, by the way, I learned a tiny bit).
....but Oregon is 39-6 since chip Kelley... I'd wager that if it were as easy as having time to prepare for pacing, they wouldn't be nearly as successful as they are.
Edit, without deleting my previous comments:
I really can't say that Oregon will smash really good teams (and vice versa), because they really don't have many games against the other big teams in the country (I wish they did). They have lost to the best teams in the SEC in similar fashion as other SEC teams had during the previous two seasons, and that's really it. That's all I have to go off of when defending them, and that's all that people have to go off of when arguing against them.... And it certainly paints an incomplete picture. They have WA, Stanford, USC, and OR state remaining (all ranked right now, plus possibly USC again in the conference championship), so if they can get through all of that, then there's a good chance Oregon will play Alabama for that little crystal ball..... And then we can re-hash all of our arguments again.
If they get beat....well, then they suck and are overrated. But they'll be consistently winning again next year, due to the sheer number of freshmen/sophomores on the team. More consistent than....say.... Ohio state or auburn.
