This is stupid question but is there some trick to removing the pump rod from the pump handle? I have a ccm kit and I got a drilled pump rod so I can get autotrigger but I've tried everything I can think of to remove the old pump rod but I can't get it lose. So any suggestions would be appreciated thanks.

heat it up with a blowdryer or running it under hot water. then use some clamping pliers

If that above advice still won't do the trick, find a vice and wrap it in rubber of some sort. Tighten down and remove.

just had the same problem..... i just let the plate sit in hot water for a few minutes then i was able to get it off with a good pair of pliers

1. chuck the pump rod in a drill
2. put drill in reverse
3. hold onto pump handle
4. pull trigger on drill
5. install new pump rod

with the length of rod suck in there like it is, its probable you can torque the crap outta your wrists doing that.

I've done it.....multiple times never been an issue with any "wrist torquing". Guess ya just gotta eat yer wheaties and nut the **** up
