If you have $100 to blow, it's easier to buy it brand new than searching for a broken one.

I don't because the previous owner lead me to believe the solenoid was good.

I think the manifold is bent and I'm missing a spring. It's either the manifold or the shaft because the shaft won't move at all.

To be honest, if the shaft isn't moving, its often because someone overtightened the screw holding the solenoid down.
That dents the body, and prevents the shaft from moving. I've seen it on a few used markers that I've purchased.
Odds are, you're going to need the whole unit.

This is, indeed, most often the case.

Well I know the electronic side of it is still good because I can hear it clicking. I just hate to spend $100 on a brand new one when I don't need the whole thing.

The thing is, even if you can find a used or broken one you don't have any guarantee it isn't suffering from the same problem. Mechanical failures like that are more common than electronic ones. Keep looking though, you might get lucky. If not, I believe both FixMyAngel and PBSports still have 'noids in stock.
