Collegiate Paintball at cup
Just got the email from Raehl about college paintball at cup, prizes, interviews, etc.
What is everyones thoughts on this? Being a University who has only been able to play class AA, I would love this opportunity.
What college teams are going to play at cup this year?

Hey Joe,
Are players allowed to compete in the NCPA division AND other divisions?
I understand it might be hard on the players logistically, but I just wanted to make sure they weren't breaking any rules by playing both.

So if you have players on other teams, what happens if they overlap the college schedule. Would they have to forfeit the game? It would not be practical to play the entry fee and then not be able to play.

Traditionally, it's been a do it at your own risk type deal. If you knowingly register for two divisions with potentially overlapping schedules, conflicts come with the territory. I know the APPA personnel may make reasonable attempts to avoid these situations but the only way to guarantee there won't be a conflict is to pick one division and stick with it. As far as I know, you won't have to forfeit games if a few of your players are on other fields - you'll just have to make it work without them.

All of our players will be on other fields except for 2-3. Probably should withdraw the team.

It depends what division you are playing. If it's RaceTo-4/5, should be pretty easy to accommodate you. The only area we REALLY get into trouble is if you make the quarters in RaceTo-2.
Just make sure you let me know what teams your players are on so I can attempt to arrange the schedule accordingly (usually we end up swapping the order of college games a bit.)

Hey Chris,
A little off subject, but are the Raza half-gloves that are built into their jerseys considered illegal?

They're padding, but you're allowed to have gloves on your hands, so just don't double-up.
You can't have padding in the arms etc though.

Joe or Chris,
Is there any chance that the NCPA finals match will make it onto the webcast?
