Please every in MX do this always. I love when they bring **** like that to us. Also, crew chiefs can get their troops to do air samples and exhaust samples.
However our friendly LT isn't mx and doesn't know what NDI does, so that's out of the question.

I figure we'll have the next guy get some exhaust samples from our GOVs and take them over to bioenvironmental... you know, CA emissions standards and all that good stuff

I got to pretend to be an aerial porter today. I had to go to some pallet build up class. There was some question about PSI and weight distribution on the pallet and the guy was like, "Now how can you decrease the PSI of an object on to the pallet?"
Everyone was like in lala land or something and I just said to increase the surface area and the dude looked at me like I was the first person to ever know that answer and he was like, "Have you been through this training before?" Like PSI and weight distribution is applicable to only building pallets.
Anyway.. thats my lame story.

Wow....We don't ever get to do that to any officers on our flightline haha. No officers except pilots will be there and if something goes down the commander will show..past that no opportunities

Anyone have any success with cortisone injections? The doc said that if it doesn't work I will require surgery. Anyone know anything about this stuff? Already got it but want to hear some success stories from y'all if there are any

it's just an anti inflammatory steroid directly injected into the affected area. definitely not a permanent fix but it will get you more mobile and pain free in the short term. General advice for sports injuries still applies: rest, ice, compression, and elevation along with physical therapy.

so im more than likely going to need surgery... fml
the doctor said that the shot basically gives the area more time to heal since it is always inflamed the area in question focuses more on being irritated than on healing and is then incapable of doing so. The cortisone lets it all take a chill pill so it can then try to heal. If it cant then I need surgery. That is what was told to me.

Corey, at least shoulder surgery has an extremely high recovery rate...With modern technoglogy I wouldn't be surprised if they do it all laproscopocally(sp), giving you 3-5 holes in your shoulder instead of a giant scar. Plus with all the procedures pretty much being perfect, you should be fine if it comes down to surgery. The recovery period may set you back in your goals but if you stick with physical therapy after surgery and what not then you shouldn'y have any limitations.

And in completely unrelated news: I ran the Warrior Dash today and I learned that a simple "Free Hugs" shirt is the single best investment I ever made. I think over 20 muddy wet girls hugged/ clung to/ straddled me today. And only like 2 of them were fat.. Worth it.
