Im thinking about buying the Replay XD Complete System to mount on my barrel and im trying to find some paintball feedback. I saw it takes some decent video and has satisfactory sound quality but i want to know what you guys think of it. Can it take a hit from a paintball? Is it easy to use?
I just got mine and have not had a chance to take it to the field but as for your other questions. Sound is good for the mic on it, you can add an external one if you want. Picture is great with at least to me no fisheye. Very, very easy to use; both the device and pulling the video. It uses vibrations to respond to commands to let you know if it is on or recording ect.
So all in all right now I like it. Will update once I get to use it on the field.
Awesome let me know how it turns out. This sounds bad but i actually hope yyou get shot in the camera for 2 reasons.
1. I really want to know if it can take a hit
2. That would be bad *** to get on video lol

I had the same thought actually. If it picked up the ball just right it would be sweet. Looking at the lens cover they look pretty damn tough so it should defintaly take a hit.

Ah i was looking at the original but the only difference is the resolution hardware is all the same. Well cool whenever you get some footage feel free to post it up. I could be persuaded to buy the 1080 (-.-).....lol
From when they had a forum on here, they answered questions all of the time. Seemed pretty durable, able to take a direct impart to the body or the lens, from a paintball, from pretty close (Around 5 feet).

trust me, the replay can take some serious sh!t, of all the cams it's the toughest hands down, best video too. I've crashed my bike with it on the side of the frame, paintballed with it lots, dropped it off a cherry picker at work, it's a tank i promise...
best video of all the cams, excellent customer service too, mine was defective out of the box they replied to me immediately fixed it right away no questions asked and shipped it back all within a week's time...

some sports make you put your balls in a basket, others over the fence, or a catchers mit. sometimes with a swift stroke,
you whack your balls over great distance to drop them down a hole...
personally, i stuck with the first sport that let me put my balls RIGHT IN YOUR FACE...

Deffinetely worth the money. Sound and picture is great. Very easy to use.
I used mine at a tournament a few weekends ago, and I took a direct hit in the one spot that you dont wish for a paintball to hit, directley in the lense. It did absolutley nothing. Wiped it off, it did nothing to the lense.
