Is there a reason my BST title was changed? I havee always put a few small symbols in my post to know which is mine at a quick glance and it has never been an issue. I also noticed more than a few other threads still have their symbols in them. What is the reason for the titles being edited?

This is done regularly to help keep the BST sections uncluttered. We can't get every thread all the time, but clean up the titles periodically.

Is this a sweeping generalized edit, or is 3 little symbols really that bad? I see how some people go overboard (PbN_Auto Trader for example) but I have always put 3 little symbols on mine and have never had mine changed before. I guess I'm just curious if there is a limit or just a flat out "text only" rule for posting now?

There is no written rule other than to clearly explain what you are selling in the title. The staff does take measures to make sure the BST sections are easy to read/use though. When everyone uses unneeded characters in titles it adds clutter and makes the sections hard to read.
