Super late, but your shot in the alleyway is one of my favorite photos I've seen in this sub-forum

"Originally posted by tremis: I love the self righteousness of the photographers with the claim that they "created" a photograph. Delusional at all? The law may ignorantly side with the photographer, but the subject has done the vast majority of the work and they dont get any credit/royalties." I take hipster photos on Instagram - @hobbesthetiger
This past weekend. I went to Traverse City, Michigan with a friend of ours who has been trying to get us to there for 3 years now. It is absolutely beautiful, especially when you got a local driving you around. Didn't take my camera around to most of the time, but here are a few shots.
I really miss this more editorial style of shooting but I find it hard to adjust to shooting it without my fe-2, which has been the favorite camera i've owned thus far. Need to get it fixed and develop a ton of film someday when I have money.....
Hello friends! It has been a while. It's my last semester of school before graduating and comin back for a few projects, mainly my 35mm thesis film next spring. My director (Sam) and I are currently working on the story. I'm really excited for it, I'm positive it will be a great film. I might start showing some of the preproduction and inspirations for that project soon; it's hard without a computer.
I've been on some more sets and came back round three for the film Convex that my friend Sam (from up there ^) is directing. I work grip and electric with my 5d strapped to me and if I'm not busy I snap a few pics. Here are some from last night.
So Convex is finally wrapped, here are some photos from the 2 days of shooting. The underwater shoot was an overnight, and anyone in the water was a trooper. The pool was heated but out was pretty cold at night.
It has been a while. A whole semester since posting?
This last semester I was just taking gen-ed courses and thought that would free me up to do more personal work but alas it ended up filling up my week. I was filming on other people's projects on the weekends so that time got eaten up as well but I learned a great deal key-gripping and gaffing and a few shoots. Just some more RED and 35mm under my belt I suppose.
Anyway, here is a small video of some of the music stuff I've shot. I realized that since going to school my output of material has significantly decreased and would like to start posting material more often.
