Not a bad idea. In a way this is all probably a good exercise to get you familiar with your gun .
As for lube, I generally use Dow55 on the inner non moving orings(LPR body, valve body, poppet stem oring) just to give them a little extra "swelling" to seal up nice(I do this on every gun I own). Your sleek or whatever is fine for the regs. I usually use oil in my ram, just because it blows through easily and won't clog up the noid. You can use grease too, just don't use a lot. I find grease works better and longer, but can build up if you're not careful.
Isn't the manifold hose just cocker hose? Should be easy enough to find. Be careful not to trim it too short! lol. We've all made that mistake in the past.

Last night I did end up taking my creed fully apart, cleaning and re-lubing everything. my LPR was gunked up, as well as my poppit. Cleaned and re-lubed, and it's so much smoother now.
When I took my manifold hose out, it must've been replaced before with some cocker hose.

Hmmmmmmm so no leaks then? My guess is that one of the eye settings is causing your gun to physically cap itself. Most likely your eye delay/bolt delay whichever it is on the creed, I can't remember. If it's set too high the gun waits to long to see if there is a ball in the chamber.......hence it slows your ROF down.
I would pop into the tech thread and get some settings there to compare to your own. Or you could try a board reset to stock settings and see if that helps. Post up your settings here and maybe someone will chime in.

Well I'd do a board reset first, you don't need air for that. Then when the hose comes in you can reset the regs properly and give it a go. Make sure your battery has a good charge and test it out.
Usually when a gun fires good without eyes and bad with eyes it's a bad battery. Plenty of voltage but not enough current. I can't remember if the creed has an eye sensitivity setting or not I'll have to look when I get home. That may also be out of whack. A high eye delay can also cause it. Or it's just glitched. Go with the reset for now.

It does have eye sensitivity. Bump it up.

I'll turn my sensitivity up, see how that goes. If that doesn't work I will do a reset

If I turn my sensitivity past 17, eyes don't work.
There is no "rest" option on my board...

And I took my grip frame off and aired up my marker. Air is coming from the front piece of the manifold hose behind the LPR. I replaced the o-rings on the screw/valve piece that goes into the manifold hose... Nothing, my manifold hose leaks even if i switch ends with it (also, this is the OLD manifold hose)

The reset button is inside the really small hole on the back of your grip. Under the button pad. Or you can take your grip frame off and press it that way. Look on the back of the board, tiny button.
If your eye sensitivity is set too high, the eyes won't work properly because the "beam" will be too powerful and always be seen. Basically it's too powerful to be blocked by a paintball, or your finger.
Here are my settings:
dwell 10.5
debounce 5.0
eye delay 5.0
eye sens 10
bolt delay 8.0
clearing shot on
FSDO time 20 seconds
FSDO Dwell 2.0 ms
loader pulse 20ms(only for RF loaders)
If your manifold hose is already stretched too much it won't be stiff enough to seal the air from the LPR properly. That's why you really don't want to take it on and off. You might get one or two times and then it'll crap out. It's possible the front barb isn't as tight as the back one. Whenever I work on my gun I always leave the noid attached to the hose. Make sure the hose is pushed all the way onto the barb as well. Half way won't work.
Another possibility is that your LPR is creeping, or not working 100% and that high air pressure is causing the hose to leak. Try turning your LPR totally off(all the way out) then air up the gun. There should be no air in the hose at all with the LPR off. If you still hear a leak, then your LPR needs some work.

Are the wires on your eyes okay? Is the eye wire plug on the board okay? Have you ordered a replacement hose?

Backed my LPR screw all the way out, no leaks.
I turned it in until it was flush, no leaks. Any more than flush and it would leak.
I have not ordered new parts yet

That's good news then. You should only need to be flush(or out a thread) on the LPR to get 280-290 anyway. If you can't then just raise your HPR up a tad and then reset the LPR again. You can replace the hose when the new one comes in to be safe but it sounds like your gun can shoot as is. You just have to figure out the eyes issue.

I suppose I could shoot as is, but I will replace the hose anyways. I might even just throw some autococker hose in it.
Now the eyes are confusing me big time

Well good, you got the leak to go away.
When you order parts, I have the correct hose in stock, as well as eyes if you can't figure them out.
Do you have another Vanguard gun you can try swapping the eyes with?

Do you guys think it would still chop every other ball if I shot eyes off capped at 10-12bps?

If you have a force fed hopper you should be fine. You might have problems if you let your hopper get low on paint while shooting though. The ball stack isn't as consistent once your hopper gets to about 40% full.
I would honestly just stop trying to avoid a board reset and do it Then copy my settings above onto your board with one change, go to a dwell of 12 to be safe. Then try the gun with eyes on. If it still doesn't work then you have a pinched/loose wire, bad/dirty eyes, or a messed up board. Remember too, you can't test the eyes with your finger in the breech, you need to shoot paint.
