Yes. 2013 we hope to have a d3 and d4 with a total of 5 events. And a big payout to season winners.

Nice to see a little offseason action. FPO? If so, what paint? And out of curiosity, what made you guys decide to bump the bps up to psp 15?

Byop or you can prepay at Addix Paintball. Bumped up the bps just to make it more competitive. Besides people complain everytime the leagues drop the bps.

Thanks. And I dont think I have a strong preference either way (so Im not disagreeing with you), but I always thought higher bps made it LESS competitive, because any schmo with an ego can pull a trigger fast enough to ramp, and when its at 15, that means any schmo can hold a 15bps lane. So that seems like it would even the playing field. Maybe thats what you meant by more competitive? If it was 15 semi, then I could see it making it more competitive in the traditional sense, as not any schmo can walk a trigger that fast, so it would reward the teams that could...
Again, I dont have a strong opinion, just talking paintball and curiosity. My team plays a lot of 7-man (I do like that you opted for no coaching!), but since our season will be over, we may consider throwing a crew in for fun.

I agree 15bps can make it more competitive. "Evening the playing field" as it had been put can mean more teams with a true chance of winning making it more competitive. That, in combination with the no coaching, just shifts the emphasis to other things like on-field strategy, communication, etc.
In any case, the best team on that particular day will come out on top and looks like a great event!
