Each year I look at our budget (revenue, expense, profit/loss) and make adjustments to help guide the results we're looking for.
The first year was a loss - we didn't have many teams in the league and we had a lot of investments to get it up and running.
The second year we cleared 4.5% margin - not exactly a successful business model.
The third year we came in closer to 17% - still not a great business plan but getting better.
We're going to keep tweaking the model till we get it right.
We had also planned on expanding out to other area fields when we had set the prizes the last couple of seasons and that just never really happened.

QMan - won't happen. If you read through all the 2013 info you'll notice that all paint (Majors and Minors) will be $50 a case.
I guess the only way that we might reduce the price is if we reduced the quality. Do you want to shoot a "Practice" grade paint in a tournament?

Yes, the reasoning behind the Sunday Minor increase is a few things:
1 - Sundays are a premium - seems more teams want to play on Sunday for whatever reason, so I'm trying to incent teams to play on Saturday
2 - I didn't want the first 9 teams to sign up to lock in Sunday and force everyone else to Saturday. I guess it's a little bit of TFB if you sign up late, but I'm trying to make it as fair as possible. I figure with the slight price increase on Sunday it will help balance the teams between the two days - the teams that like Sunday but don't need Sunday will most likely pick Saturday. The teams that need Sunday for whatever reason will then be able to pick Sunday.

Dave, I'm a little confused. I was looking over the league info and stumbled upon this... "The Minors will be limited to D3 and lower. Minor league teams will be allowed to roster one Major League or Open player" does this mean a minor league team can roster a player of any division including pro?
