Best Buy has an arse-ton of cases in stock now. But with the drop tests I've seen, mine won't be getting a case

Yah... besides the scratches and scuffing from hitting the cement, I'm surprised how durable the iPhone 5 is. So do you still work at Best Buy? When my wife shops in Mission Valley... my kids and I hang out your old store... but I haven't seen you there.

Not bad, actually. Lots of work stress but it's going well. Finally getting some time to shoot more and smoke more cigars.

On their website it says it also helps (can't remember the exact wording) with drops from 5ft< or something like that. Do you think that's accurate, I find it hard to believe a wrap could prevent my screen from cracking from any height. Even weary about that invisible shield 'extreme' which is also tempting me.

I'm a little tempted to go with the commuter again, I had it on my 4 it wasn't a bad case, but the 5 seemed pretty sturdy in those videos. And the phone is awfully pretty. Decisions decisions.

All-over invisishield if you're worried about scratches. Show off the sexy aluminum!

The only thing about getting a full body invisishield or something similar is that I'm worried the edges of the aluminum will still show wear

I've had my iPhone 4 for 2 years. Never had a screen protector on it and never gotten a scratch. I really hate the feel of them.
Took the one off my work phone as soon as I got it as well. But it's a droid and basically a paperweight anyway.

I had the zagg shields and I would go through a set every 3 months cause they would peel up and just get ****ed up overall. Right now I have nothing on the front, have a few scratches that are really light. And then the back still has the zagg on it to hold it all together since I cracked my back and I am too lazy to switch back to the black one

Well damn, i figured out a way to get cheap zagg screen protectors, but it looks like they are pretty worthless. lol
If anyone does like the zagg's or want's to try out their product without paying full price, you can buy the Samsung Infuse 4G Zagg kit on sale (got mine for 7.50$) that comes with the spray, cloth, and protector. The infuse was a massive phone, so you'll basically just trace your 5 or 4S on the protector and cut it how you want it to fit. Mine installed pretty easily, but i guess only time will tell.
If anyone is looking for the 5 and can't get it, pull up google maps and search for the random AT&T or Radio Shack stores outside of your city and in a smaller city relatively close. I found that to the east of me (in Louisville KY) all AT&T model 5's were sold out and back ordered, but they had plenty of Sprint/Verizon models. To the west of me (towards Lexington) all Sprint/Verizon Models were sold out but there was an abundance of AT&T phones. Radio Shack franchises also seemed to have more inventory than corporate owned radio shack locations.
If your an AT&T customer and don't want to pay that activation fee of $26 (actually $41.50 when you call AT&T), you can call them and tell them you had to drive 2 hours to get your 5, and an AT%T rep told you they would waive the fee because of the drive. I just got all 4 upgrades waived from my account, which they said totaled 166$, which is 41.50 per phone, not $26 like they said when i was at the store.
All this may already have been posted, just don't have time now to read through all the posts. Hopefully it will help somebody out though.
One problem i'm having though is finding a store that supplies cases other than the otterbox's or speck cases. Anyone know a smaller retail store that could have some in?

I got my case from best buy. It's a rocketfish soft case, it doesn't provide much for protection, but I'm picky about cases, and I hate bulk, the best buy by me had a few pretty decent cases

Got my 5, thing is freaking fast! Couple of issues so far, for some reason it won't keep my email password stored and some apps won't login to anything.
Scratch that, email started working right on its own
