I'm debating on making the LPR on my LCD external with a palmer or similar. Do I need to use a volumizer with the LPR? Does that volume of air do anything? Or can I use the cap that is too the right of the volumizer that's plugging the battery tube to drill and tap the LPR into (obviously I will move the cap the the LPR side)

Unless you remove the stock LPR and plug up the old LP air channels your valve volume is fixed, and having more air sitting in front of the LPR is entirely pointless from a performance standpoint. If you do remove the stock LPR and run an external, you free up the entire valve-side tube for an air reservoir, in which case the volumizers would serve to increase the valve volume.
