Problems with balls rolling out of barrel on a Trilogy Pro
I bought a used trilogy pro autococker and it works great aside from balls keep rolling out of the barrel because the bolt is hitting it so hard. The guy there said that it could be the pressure is too high or the barrel bore could be too large please help.

do you have a barrel kit? i would suggest a barrel kit with different bore sizes to get a better paint to bore match

It's probably just that the stock barrel is too large for the paint. You need the inside diameter of the barrel to be slightly smaller to prevent rollouts (look up underbore). You can either use a small bit of electrical tape on the back, or pick up a lapco bore sizer, or pick up a smaller bore barrel or barrel kit.

Ok thanks I'll try that but is there also a chance it could be that the pressure is too high because the back block is really tight when gassed up

? the bolt pushes the ball into the barrel always because it is a closed bolt marker, and if the bore of the barrel is to big, the ball will just roll out

Ya I know that I just thought maybe the bolt was pushing the balls harder than it should

Having the lpr pressure too high wouldn't puch balls out of the barrel, but it is better to have it lower so if a paintball gets pinched, it doesn't chop.

It could be, but that really won't have much to do with roll outs. The LPR on the front controls how much air issued to recock the marker (moving the bolt as well), and even from the factory these came set a little higher than they needed to be. If you have some air you can try adjusting this down by unscrewing it off and turning the adjustment screw in slightly to reduce the pressure until it will just recock the marker consistently.

Your best bet if you can afford it is to invest in a barrel kit that comes with multiple size inserts. If you are going to be sticking to whatever paint your using now for awhile and don't have the cash for a kit find out what size the paint your using is and maybe a shop at a field near you can sell just the right size barrel to you..
Couldnt tell you what bore size you need because there are a few different sizes of paint. Put the paint in a barrel and if the paintball rolls out without any force the bore size is to big, if it gets stuck in the barrel try to blow it out and it shouldn't take much force if its the right size. If it takes alot then the bore for that barrel is too small.

if your short on cash and dont want to buy a barrel kit, you can put a little tape on the inside of the barrel like this:
aka the "ghetto widget mod".
you should probably look for a .682 or .684 barrel. but in all honestly you really need a kit for cockers. the paint to bore match is the only thing that holds the ball in place. the detent is just there to prevent double feeds.
