Hey nation

I help out at a field in my local area.

I have talked to the manager and we have decided that a good way to get more customers is to add different fields.

As of right now we have 2 fields (speedball and cowboy town). Both of the fields needs work after hurricane Issac came through.

After we finish the work on these 2 fields we are looking into building a hyperball field we have everything we need for that field we just have to clean the area and start putting it together.

I brought up that in our area there are alot of woodball/scenario players.

We are wanting to make these fields also.

We are both speedball players and really have no idea of where to get started, or what to use as bunkers.

Any ideas would help out.

Just finished building this field at our place today. It's only 200x150, but our primary client base is private groups of ~10 players so this will be a good size for that. Should be playing it next weekend. I used off-the-shelf corrugated roofing tin for the wall, PT 4x4, 2x4, and fence pickets from Lowes. We already had the plastic pallets on site. Everything is new materials and built well with a goal of low maintenance.

Theme fields are popular these days since most kids play FPS games. Just come up with a plan/idea, draw it out, walk the field to see what natural elements you can use and build it right. Once finished play it for a few weeks/months and tweak it if necessary.

how much are you getting those pallets for? and where?

What kind of gameplay is that field? Like I said our area is mainly woodsball players. I'm guessing due to living in the country.
