alright just got the new solenoid, poppet seals, and poppet orings, it ended up being the poppet seal, tried the noid and oring first because i didnt want to have to go through the ***** of taking the seal off, anyway, i have no vice at my house so i used a little C clamp padded with like 5 layers of t-shirt wrapped around the poppet to get the seal off, god damn that ***** was on their tight, when i got it off i took it out of the C clamp to find little knicks on the brass of the poppet near the oring, i thought "god damnit i just ****ed it up its not gonna seal" but i thought id try it anyway to see if it would actually work. it sealed up just fine, no leaks, no pressure building behind the finger, one thing though, seems to be firing alot softer than it was before on the same 140 psi i had it set at last weekend, also seemed very inconsistent when just eyeballing it. should i just go ahead n get a brand new poppet all together because i knicked the brass on the poppet? will it cause scratches on the inside? i figure the only thing actually touching the inside of the bolt guide would be the actual poppet oring and not the brass right? correct me if im wrong. Thanks.

If you nicked the brass on any place that contacts the inside of the bolt guide, then you will need a replacement. I would get one anyway because it sounds like its affecting the airflow (inconsistency, etc...)

True, and this is the most important thing. I HATE when something is wrong with my gear and I can't figure it out.

Haha so the problem was that little white poppet seal? Hmm hopefully I can tinker with mine Friday and see if it is the seal. If it still shoots, may just have empire replace it at cup

I JUST resolved this issue with my axe. I tightened my velocity adjustment, still leaked. I lubed all my o-rings, no fix. Lubed the poppet assembly, no fix. Cleaned my solenoid, no fix. REPLACED the o-ring and seal on my poppet assembly, bingo.

BTW by the look of things, I would have said that my poppet seal and o-ring looked fine but they were the culprit.

yes my poppet seal and oring "looked" fine but it was obviously what was causing my leak, i took off the poppet seal wrong and ended up ****ing up my old poppet seal, i used a c clamp to hold the poppet with a bunch of t shirts layered to protect the brass, tightened it down a bunch, used needle nose pliers to twist off the poppet seal, just put the pliers on the flat spots on the seal, the c clamp ended up nicking my brass on my poppet even with the layers of t shirt protecting it, id suggest finding a nice padded vice somewhere n use that.
