new vs. old Etha, which to get?

Hello, I haven't seen another thread like this so id like to ask.
Next week ill have 440 to spend on a new marker, and I only want an Etha.
Do you guys recommend i just buy it new or should I take a risk and buy it used?
I know it is a $100 difference(i could use that to buy a dye rotor, using an old-school halo atm) just alittle nervous dropping the 300 for a used one and it doesn't work right.

Thanks for any insight!

Get New...i have an early Etha and the bolt engine completely broke. Its only a defect in the early ones and seems to not be an issue on new ones.

ive sent mine to a local PE distributor. As far as i know it will cost me almost nothing to get replaced. But since it was one of the newer/ 1st gen ethas i would recommend buying a new one since mine did have a flaw.
