Hey guys, I'm new to this forum, and in some sense- new to paintball even though I have played it several times and have my own equipment.

As part of one of my courses, I am given half a year to complete a single project (with a write-up). I love the aesthetics and feel of milsim paintball guns, and for this project, I wish to build/manufacture a custom paintball gun. I know this includes CNC and milling and such, but I was wondering if people have any advice as to where to start. My project would be displayed at a large exhibition where teenagers from wealthy families would come and see my project.

After producing this gun, I would auction it off. ALL proceeds would be given to a charity of the winning bidder's choice, OR I will choose a charity related to war amps/children warriors.

Any advice would be appreciated. (I am in the lower mainland)

Start by drawing out what you want on Autocad, then produced to machine it out.

If I contacted a paintball company, would any of them be willing to sponsor/work with on this since they will also get major advertising.

Call them and find out.

Worse they can do is say no, or just laugh and hang up..
