Locally? If its still around I think Thunderbird Cylinder does paintball tanks, otherwise sending it out is a decent option. I've used both Hydrotesters and SwapMyTank, they both good companies to work with.

Is there any local place other than thunderbird cylinder? I.E north phx area. otherwise seems like that hydrotesters website isn't a bad deal, saves me a trip across half the city.

Last time I needed something Hydro'd and I looked locally, the only company I could find was Thunderbird, this was a while ago so I'm not 100% sure they are still the only ones. For the past couple years, I always send my tanks off to have them hydro'd. I've had a bunch of tanks hydro'd in the past by hydrotesters and just recently I used swapmytank. Both are reputable and trustworthy in my mind.

a word of caution about hydrotesters.com. I'm not trying to drag their name through mud but I had issues with both of the two thanks that I recently sent them.

One came back with a leak out of the regulator that is hopefully repairable once I have the time to take it apart, rebuild it and refill. That'll be a TBD. The other tank, a quite old GEN1 Maxflo system, has a non-repairable leak out of it's on/off knob. So that entire system is now down-for-the-count.

It's always tough to play the blame game but i'm 100% confident both tanks were not leaking before I sent them off... so I have far less confidence in how much care they give in removing and refitting the regs.

If anything, be sure to remove the reg yourself before sending it off.

Not sure if you still need this done but us at command post can send it out to thunderbird for you. We will take off the reg and handle everything so you don't have to

Thats unusual, I think I've had about 10 tanks done there, never a problem, I always remove my own reg though.
